This belt offers resistance to vegetable oils but is not suitable for applications involving animal fats. Specialty fabrication is commonly performed on this belt, making it adaptable for cleats, guides, edge treatments, and other modifications. W1200 COS Standard is used as a general-purpose food-handling belt in applications where vegetable-oil resistance is required. It is not recommended for chicken or meat processing—2-2121 should be used instead for those environments. Direct food contact is permitted with this construction.
